The brief
Encourage trade customers to have a say in how their local Jewson store, and the wider business, was run.
The solution

Posters, animations and suggestion boxes were situated at high-traffic in-store areas (entry, check out & café) for maximum exposure

We used motivational language and unexpected visuals to cut through cluttered in-store comms environments.
The results

The campaign received over 5,000 responses in its first week (although some suggestions were more practical than others)

The campaign was continued for 3 years, much longer than the intended 6 months




We adapted the press visuals into short animations displayed on instore wall screens to capture attention and build conversation.

The creative process
This campaign used the 'Oi geezer!' principle by displaying classical imagery that would never normally be found in a Trade environment. The visuals are unexpected but remain relevant to the idea, and the copy supports with familiar and colloquial language to drive the message home.
