Metlife Protected Growth Bond campaign

MetLife's brand ambassadors were Charlie Brown and the characters from the comic strip, Peanuts.

MetLife was extraordinarily strict on adherence to the Peanuts brand, and every piece of artwork and copy had to be checked and approved by the owners of the copyright in America – after all, the Peanuts brand has annual sales of more than $2 billion.

So it was that my storyboards were briefed to an illustrator with an appropriate style, and when his work was returned, days could be spent getting elements such as the style of grass looking just so.

Having grown up reading Peanuts, this was un unusual, but gratifying, career milestone.
